Kansas City Chiefs fans can’t take their eyes off Chris Jones in the formal postseason photo posted to social media announcing the team’s captains for the playoffs.
The six brave captains are Travis Kelce, Patrick Mahomes, Jones, Harrison Butker, Nick Bolton and James Winchester. Jones is second from the right between Mahomes and Bolton.
The distance between the photos almost guarantees that the six men were not in the photo together.
Jones is barely between his quarterback and middle linebacker, while the trio on the left, Kelce, Winchester and Butker, look well organized.
With all the preparation underway for Saturday’s Chiefs’ Divisional round matchup against the Houston Texans, the taking of this photo likely fell to the back burner, if any of them were actually shot at the same time.
The Kingdom of Chiefs had a fun day with the photo on social media.

“Why Chris Jones looks like a cardboard cutout at a local dealership,” said one Chiefs fan with crying emojis.
“Why do I feel like @StoneColdJones got photoshopped lol,” said another Kansas City supporter.
“Chris is both in front of and behind Mahomes, the box and Bolton at the same time. He is unblockable, a true legend,” another football fan added.
‘Did Chris Jones appear in the photo or??? He looks photoshopped in high key lmaooo,” someone else concluded.

The Chiefs are aiming to become the NFL’s first team in the Super Bowl era to win three straight championships.
Kansas City is three wins away from that elusive feat, with home field advantage in the AFC playoffs.
On the other side of the conference are the Buffalo Bills and Baltimore Ravens.
The Bills were the only team to beat the Chiefs at full strength this season.
