A photo of an alleged Chicago criminal is going viral on X (formerly Twitter) after he flashed a menacing smile in his mugshot.
Daily Loud posted the mugshot on its X page yesterday with the caption: “Chicago man’s mugshot is going viral.”
The man, who was wearing a black sweatshirt, smiled as he looked directly into the camera.
The photo has received more than 16 million views and almost 150,000 likes on X.
Daily Loud did not reveal any information about the suspect and it is unclear if he has been tried for his alleged crime.

Users of X (formerly Twitter) believe that the Chicago criminal in the photo is guilty of everything that has led him to be in police custody.
The crime rate in Chicago has improved in the last 10 years, but according to a recent analysisCrimes in that city have become more violent.
Between 2021 and 2022 there was a significant increase in thefts.
However, according to the Illinois Policy Institute, Chicagoans already reported 13 percent more crimes overall between January 1 and August 31, 2023 than during the first eight months of 2022.
X users aren’t sure what happened, but they overwhelmingly seem to believe he did whatever he was accused of doing.
‘What they said he did, HE DID,’ wrote one X user.
Commenters have even started creating their own memes using his photo.
Others have called him “a villain” and one user even mentioned that the criminal’s evil is “in his eyes.”
‘It’s the eyes… And that cruel smile. That’s scary,” one person wrote.
X users who believe the criminal should be “jailed” also joked about his photo and made references to Usher and Swizz Beatz.
His comment has received more than 150,000 views.
