A mother who lost 20 stones after obtaining a gastric bypass to achieve the body of her dreams hanged herself because being thin made her feel worse, says her husband.
Kelly Burndred, 37, weighed 30 stones at its heaviest point in 2014, but dropped to only 10.5 tons in March 2015 after undergoing weight loss surgery.
The mother-of-one, from Chesterton, Staffordshire, had struggled with her weight since she was a child.
Her husband, Gareth, says he "suffered most of his life", constantly obsessed with his size and the development of postnatal depression after the birth of his daughter in 2003.

Her devastated husband found her unconscious below, but the paramedics could not save her.
Speaking on the website, he described his battle to deal with the death of his wife: & # 39;It's something that I wake up in the night.
"Telling Jess was the hardest thing I had to do, I drove with his grandparents and I gave them the news.
"I feel guilty, I could not save Kelly, I did not see the signs, if there were any, but at the same time, I know I did everything I could."
Ms. Burndred's hair fell off after her weight loss procedure, which her husband believes was added to her anxiety.
The first attempt of his own life occurred when Burndred woke up in the middle of the night for his wife to bathe and take an extension cord to the bathroom.
She admitted that she wanted to commit suicide, but managed to convince her and she started taking medication.

Then, two days after the couple watched a documentary about the suicide of a Hollywood star. She insisted that they look at it together and Mr. Burndred thinks that this could have been another sign.

Days later she woke up in the middle of the night and said she wanted to go down to be alone.
Her husband made her promise to return to bed in an hour, but she never came back.
In the morning, she ran downstairs when she realized that her side of the bed was empty, of finding her collapsed on the floor.
The Burndred family has established Kelly & # 39; s Legacy to raise awareness about mental health issues in their local area.
Mr. Burndred and his daughter Jess have also been placing personalized notes on the bridges near their home to reach people who consider taking their own lives. An investigation into the death of Mrs. Burndred will be later this year.
