A young motorcyclist has died in a collision with a car during rush hour.

The 19-year-old man was traveling along Hector Street in Chester Hill, in Sydney’s west, about 6pm on Tuesday when he collided with a Mazda 6 sedan.

The horseman He was knocked off his Kawasaki bike and suffered serious injuries.

Paramedics responded to the scene and attempted to treat the man, but were unable to save him.

Just hours later, a pedestrian died after being hit by a motorist in Bexley, in Sydney’s south.

The accident occurred at the intersection of Preddys Road and Johns Street.

The 28-year-old was treated by paramedics but they could not save him.

The driver of the vehicle, a 17-year-old boy, suffered minor injuries and was taken to St George’s Hospital for treatment following his arrest.
