Magnus Carlsen has married Ella Victoria Malone in an elegant ceremony in Norway.
The chess Grandmaster was photographed kissing his girlfriend Ella Victoria Malone, 26, in front of the Holmenkollen Chapel in Oslo.
According to Norwegian media reports, details of the ceremony were largely kept under wraps ahead of the big day.
However, as snaps from the wedding reveal, the event appeared to be lavish, with stunning floral and foliage displays adorning the exterior of the chapel.
For her part, the bride looked spectacular in a white dress, characterized by a full skirt and sweetheart neckline.
The top of the dress was covered in lace, creating a high-necked, long-sleeved style.
The back of the dress featured a keyhole detail. The photos do not show the bride wearing a veil, showing the feature to its full extent.
Emma opted to wear her brunette locks styled into a center-parted low bun and completed her bridal look with a fresh makeup look, complete with dewy skin, peach blush and pink lips.

The world’s number one chess player and his new girlfriend (both in the photo) posed radiantly for photographs.
The newlyweds looked delighted as they kissed in front of photographers, smiling as people took the pictures.
They were first seen together publicly as a couple at the Freestyle Chess GOAT Challenge in Germany in February.
After going public with their relationship, Emma was regularly seen supporting her world number one chess player suitor at various events, including December’s World Rapid and Blitz Championships in New York.
The wedding comes just days after it was revealed that Magnus revealed he would be returning to a major tournament after organizers announced they were relaxing dress code rules.
On December 27, the Norwegian was defending his World Rapid and Blitz Chess Championship in New York when governing body FIDE told him he could not continue while wearing jeans.
He said he offered to change his pants for the next day before he was fined and told he needed to change immediately.
After significant backlash, FIDE announced on December 30 that it would relax its dress code to allow for “minor and stylish deviations” from its official list of acceptable attire.
As a result, Magnus said he will return to the tournament on Monday, but insisted he will continue to wear jeans as a matter of principle.
The bride, Ella Victoria Malone, 26, looked stunning as she donned a classic white dress with a full skirt and lace sleeves.
SEALED WITH A KISS: The newlyweds were not shy and showed their affection with a passionate kiss outside the chapel.
“Long story short: I’ll play at least one more day here in New York,” Carlsen said in an interview with the Take Take Take app’s YouTube channel. “If I do it right, another day later.”
And he added: “On principle, tomorrow I will play with jeans.”
Following the incident, the 34-year-old revealed that he had spoken to FIDE President Arkady Dvorkovich.
“Talking with Dvorkovich and title sponsor Turlov, I felt we could have some fruitful discussions and in the end I decided to play,” he continued.
‘Also, I love playing blitz chess. I want to give the fans a chance to see me play it. It could be the last time, who knows.
On 27 December, he withdrew from the championship and Carlsen was fined $200 (£158) by chess’s governing body after being given the opportunity to put on the correct clothing, which he refused.
However, after being told he would not be allowed to continue, he allegedly responded: “I’m out, fuck you.”
Carlsen, world champion from 2013 to 2023, said he had lunch before the round and had to change quickly.
The couple made their public debut last February. Since then, Emma has been seen supporting her husband at multiple tournaments.

“I put on a shirt, a jacket and, honestly, I didn’t even think about jeans, I didn’t even change my shoes,” Carlsen told Take Take Take, a chess-tracking app.
‘I didn’t even think about that. First of all, they gave me a fine, which is fine, and then they warned me that they wouldn’t match me if I didn’t go change my clothes. They said I could do it today after the third round.
The Norwegian grandmaster is the biggest name in chess, having won 64 major titles in the sport since emerging as a prodigious talent in the early 2000s.
In addition to chess, the Norwegian has also taken his talents to the world of fantasy football.
Midway through the 2019/20 Premier League campaign, Carlsen rose to first place in the league’s official fantasy table, putting him at the top of a list of over 7 million players.
