Seven teenagers were arrested in Goodna, Brisbane, in the early hours of Friday morning after they allegedly assaulted two Uber drivers and two McDonald's employees.

Seven teenagers were arrested overnight after allegedly assaulting McDonalds and Uber staff before stealing one of the rideshare driver’s cars.

Queensland Police were called to a Chermside McDonald’s on Hamilton Road in Brisbane around midnight on Friday morning.

Two Uber drivers were allegedly assaulted in the parking lot before one ran into the restaurant where police say the group followed him and started another fight.

The store manager, a woman in her 20s, and an employee, 19, were also assaulted by the teens, who allegedly stole the other Uber driver’s gray Toyota Camry and fled.

Police caught the group in Goodna, 34 kilometers south of Chermside, after placing spikes on Brisbane Road and pursuing them on foot on Bertha Street at 1.40am.

Calcifer Gan, who lives next door to the Chermside McDonald’s, said he heard lots of screeching and screaming before the car took off around midnight.

‘[I heard] people screaming and then a car screeching. Five minutes later there were more screeching noises and some people shouting and then they disappeared again,” Ms Gan said. he told 9News.

Queensland Police Deputy Commissioner Ben Marcus said the Uber drivers and McDonald’s staff only suffered minor injuries and did not require treatment.

After fleeing the scene, police chased the teenagers from Chermside through Clayfield, Nundah and South Brisbane before they eventually attempted to flee on foot in Goodna.

Police used the dog squad to locate the teens before arresting them.

A 15-year-old girl from Chermside West has been charged with armed robbery in a business, attempted robbery, unlawful use of a motor vehicle and two counts of common assault.

He was denied bail and was due to appear in juvenile court today.

The other six teenagersaged between 13 and 15, have been charged with the same crimes but were released on bail.

Meanwhile, another alleged attack involving an Uber driver took place in Melbourne on Friday night.

Victoria Police allege five teenagers were picked up by a 62-year-old Point Cook man driving a Mercedes SUV on Cloverdale Road in Tarneit.

Five minutes into the trip, police allege one of the teens jumped out of the car, opened the driver’s door and allegedly attacked the driver.

The man was treated in hospital for minor injuries and police located the teenagers using the Air Wing and canine unit to hunt them down on foot.

The five criminals are assisting police with investigations.
