A body is found in a creek next to a busy Westfield shopping center in Brisbane as police report a crime scene.
The body was pulled from Downfall Creek along Murphy Road, near the Westfield Shopping Center in Chermside, at around 10am on Thursday morning.
A Queensland Police spokeswoman said they believed it to be a man.
“A member of the public called us,” she said.
“The area has now been declared a crime scene.”
Pictures from the site show a team of firefighters wearing life jackets by the creek as well as several police officers and paramedics.

Investigations are ongoing.
Members of the public have been urged to avoid the area.
