Cher got fed up with Jimmy Kimmel when she appeared on his late night talk show Tuesday night while answering some quick questions about her life.
While promoting the second part of her book Cher: The Memoir, the Goddess of Pop, 78, she grew more tired by the minute before declaring his questions “so stupid.”
The comment came after he told her that she had not yet started writing the second part of the book, which was set for release on November 18, 2025.
“Have you finished the second part of your book yet?” Kimmel asked, which seemed to trigger the singer.
Cher initially responded with a laugh, before admitting she “didn’t even start it.”
‘Is that true?’ Kimmel pressed, prompting Cher to give him an icy look.

Kimmel then defended his question, pointing out that it was doubtful she would finish the November release if she “hadn’t even started it.”
As she remained quiet, he joked, “So it’s not coming out in November.”
“Yes, it is,” Cher insisted, to which Kimmel teased, “We’ll see.”
While she grinned at his comment, Kimmel continued to poke fun at the idea that she would put together the second part of her book in just nine months.
“November of what year?” he scoffed, before offering his help with the memoir.
Cher then politely declined his “help.”
Towards the end of the interview, Kimmel began asking another question, which began by asking “if you could turn back time (an apparent reference to her hit single If I Could Turn Back Time).”
Before he could finish his sentence, she shut him down.

The comment came after he questioned her about the fact that she had not yet started writing the second part of the book, which will be published on November 18, 2025.
“This is so stupid,” she said, before trying to answer which year she would relive.
Cher mused that she can’t remember which year she would relive because she is “dyslexic,” but that she would turn 60 again, even though the year she turned 40 was the “best.”
As they prepared to wrap up the interview, Kimmel sincerely thanked Cher for having her as a guest and said he hoped she’d return in November — if you actually finish the book.
“You’re much nicer and funnier than I thought you would be,” she replied.
