Cher got candid about the music producer-turned-murderer who propositioned her for sex at age 15 and then pulled a gun on her.
In her newly released memoir, Cher: The Memoir, Part One, the 78-year-old music icon detailed the “strange” interactions she had with the late Phil Spector.
The Moonstruck actress met the composer in the early 1960s through her boyfriend at the time, musician Antonino LoTempio.
And he invited 15-year-old Cher, born Cherilyn Sarkisian, to meet Spector in his hotel room.
“He could have been a demigod to many, but he acted strangely and I didn’t like the way he looked at me,” he wrote about the music producer in his memoirs.
The Goddess of Pop recalled the moment her heart dropped when he looked her “up and down” and propositioned her in French.

‘”Voulez-vous Coucher avec moi?” “He said, smiling, asking me to sleep with him,” Cher wrote. The singer shamelessly responded that she would have sex with him in exchange for money.
“Without breaking a sweat, I looked back at him and responded, “Oui, pour l’argent.”
She continued in her book: ‘You could have knocked him down with a feather. He didn’t think I would understand the question much less have an answer.
Later in the memoir, Cher also talked about the time Spector illegally used her voice on a European single years after their collaboration.
Angry, the singer confronted Spector about his breach of contract, only to be met with hostility. According to Cher, the producer tried to intimidate her and things became violent.
The late songwriter allegedly pulled a gun on the superstar to make his point.
“Looking at him furiously as he twirled it between his fingers, I said, ‘Don’t fuck with me, Phillip!'” he wrote in his book at the time.
‘This is me, Cher, okay? …Put that damn gun down and promise me you’ll never do anything like that to my music again, okay?’ she said fearlessly.
