Chennedy Carter has returned to attack her brutal foul on Caitlin Clark.

Chennedy Carter has once again criticized her brutal foul against Caitlin Clark, telling her critics: “You all don’t know me, but you think you know my story.”

The Chicago Sky player has been heavily criticized for her aggressive treatment of the Indiana Fever star during their WNBA game on Saturday.

Clark insisted on Monday night that he has “no regrets” about his brutal body check as he addressed the incident directly for the first time.

Then, on Tuesday morning, Clark attacked her critics again on Instagram.

In response to an ESPN post that included his quotes about the flagrant foul, Clark said, “You all don’t know me, but you think you know my story.” Ahhh contradicting you.’

He posted two Instagram stories on Tuesday morning.

Chennedy Carter has returned to attack her brutal foul on Caitlin Clark.

In a second post, he added: “So we can basically Google B and not highlight it lol.”

It comes after DailyMail.com revealed on Monday that the former fourth overall pick was traded and removed from teams due to his off-court behavior, including an incident in which he threatened to fight with a teammate.

In July 2021 she was suspended for ‘conduct detrimental to the team’. According reports around the time the suspension was issuedCarter got into an argument with another Dream player, Courtney Williams, who asked her to “improve her attitude” during a game.

After the game ended, Carter approached Williams in the locker room and told him he wanted to fight. Once he denied that request for an altercation, Carter backed off. He did not play for the Dream again.

For the 2022 season, Atlanta traded her to the Los Angeles Sparks, where she did not get much playing time: she averaged just 16 minutes per game and played in just 24 games.

She was resigned in March 2023. It was revealed by the Los Angeles Times that Carter had been benched the previous season due to “misconduct.” It was further reported that interim coach Fred Williams benched Carter for four games due to a “coaching decision.”

After playing one season overseas in Turkey, Carter earned an invite to camp with the Chicago Sky, leading to a roster spot.

Carter insisted Monday night that his push toward Clark, which has drawn widespread criticism and attention in recent days, came after she was hit in the head moments before.

The 25-year-old appeared to yell “bitch” at the former Iowa star before throwing her to the ground.

The Chicago player then refused to answer questions about Clark immediately after Saturday’s loss to the Indiana Fever.

But after practice Monday, he said, “I don’t regret anything.” “I’m going to compete and play 100 percent hard, no matter who it is or who we play against.”

Carter said he acted in the “heat of the moment” and was simply retaliating. The footage appears to show Clark catching the guard with her elbow moments before she was knocked to the ground.

The Chicago player addressed the incident directly for the first time after practice on Monday.

The Chicago player addressed the incident directly for the first time after practice on Monday.

“I think I got hit in the head on the previous play and it was one of those things that happened in the heat of the moment. I don’t know Caitlin. I don’t know her from anyone, but at the end of the day this is basketball, it’s competitive,” said.

‘This is basketball, if you play against someone like me, I classify myself as a guy. So if you’re going to throw a punch, I’m going to compete with you.

Added Carter: ‘When we’re inside those four lines, it’s smoke. After it’s all love… we don’t hit her like she’s in the street. It’s just basketball.’

The 25-year-old, who received an endorsement from Whoopi Goldberg on Monday, was asked if she now accepted that her actions had crossed a line.

Even Chicago Sky head coach Teresa Weatherspoon publicly criticized the play, insisting it was “not appropriate.”

“She and I have discussed what happened and that it was not appropriate, nor what we do or who we are,” Weatherspoon said.

But Carter insisted: ‘There is no line. I’m competing. I’m going to compete… if you’re going to throw punches first, I’m going to compete. It’s all love. It’s basketball.

‘This happens in the NBA. Actually, now I’m focused on New York (Liberty), I’m not really focused on that play anymore. It happened… it’s over.’

Clark and Carter faced off on Saturday when Fever defeated Sky in a close battle.

Carter even stated that the incident will bring opposing players closer together and is actually good for the WNBA.

“This is a moment that brings everyone together and gives the league a chance to unify,” he continued. “Everything that happened is really fantastic for our league. It’s a great competition. “We are two great players competing at the national level… everything is love.”

However, he lashed out at the fallout from the incident, which has barely subsided in the days following Indiana’s victory.

‘We have been able to receive many blows in the last 24 or 48 hours. I’m here smiling, I’m not complaining,” she said.

‘I don’t know why we’re dragging him. But we kept dragging out a play that happened and a whole fourth quarter happened after that… we just have to let that play go.”

Earlier this week, however, Carter gave Clark another chance, writing on social media: “Congratulations to all these women, you’ve really made the WNBA interesting…besides the three-point shooting, right?” What does (Clark) bring to the table?”
