Chelsea fans have taken to social media to show their anger after their team were denied a penalty against Manchester City.

After some big mistakes from forward Nicolas Jackson, the score remained 0-0 until the second half.

Mauricio Pochettino’s men were awarded a free kick by Cole Palmer before it hit the arm of Jack Grealish, who was standing against a three-man wall.

A VAR review followed and, after a short delay, referee Michael Oliver awarded City a goal kick, rather than a penalty or corner.

And Chelsea fans took to X to express their frustrations, with some claiming it was a “crazy” decision not to award a penalty.

Manchester City booked a place in the FA Cup final for the third time in five years after claiming a 1-0 victory.

Bernardo Silva scored from close range six minutes from time to ensure City’s hope of winning the double remained intact.
