“We have to be at our best – we don’t regret it after this game,” said Tuchel, confirming that his team has been practicing penalty kicks this week.
‘Manchester City has set the benchmark for this team and this manager over the years, but we are really aware that you are always able to close the gap.
So they are arguably the strongest team in Europe and perhaps in the world right now, and they have created a huge gap between them and us in the league.

“But we’ve closed the gap for 90 minutes in Wembley, we’ve closed the gap for 90 minutes in City, and this is what we want to do tomorrow.
‘How did we close the gap? We were brave, we were brave, we suffered together. We showed up every minute.
‘We feel hungry, we are not happy to just be here, we are not overly excited to be here – we want to be too excited after the game, we want the last step. We’re here to lift the trophy. ‘
