Chelsea are reportedly preparing a double attack for both Ivan Toney and Victor Osimhen as Mauricio Pochettino looks to improve his failed striker.
With the former Spurs boss occupying his place in the dugout, Chelsea have again spent big under Todd Boehly, bringing in nine new arrivals this summer.
With former club record signing Romelu Lukaku allowed to leave again despite a strong season in Serie A, the Blues brought in the likes of Nicolas Jackson and Christopher Nkunku to take charge this season.
However, with Jackson having scored just once in his first six Premier League appearances and Nkunku yet to make his Blues debut due to injury, the club are reportedly willing to look for attacking reinforcements in January.
According to a report from The guardBoth Toney and Osimhen are on Pochettino’s wishlist, with the manager insisting on playing a bigger role in transfer policy during his second transfer window at the club.
Mauricio Pochettino has reportedly demanded he play a bigger role in Chelsea’s transfer activities in the future

Summer signing Nicolas Jackson has had a slow start at Stamford Bridge
“The good thing is that the relationship and communication with the sporting directors and owners is very good,” Pochettino said.
‘When the transfer window closed, I said that I now had to be more involved in all decisions. I started making an inventory of what we need for January.’
After an inspiring season at Napoli, in which he scored 26 times in Serie A and secured the club’s first Scudetto in more than three decades, Osimhen’s future at Napoli appears increasingly uncertain.
The club has released and then deleted a pair of controversial TikTok videos which appeared to mock the striker after missing a penalty in the club’s 0-0 draw against Bologna.
Osimhen has just 18 months left on his current contract at the Stadio Diego Armando Maradona and given recent developments it is unlikely that his contract will be extended, making an exit for the 24-year-old seem increasingly likely.

The club are said to be exploring a move for Napoli striker Victor Osimhen in January

Meanwhile, Brentford’s Ivan Toney is also said to be on Pochettino’s wishlist for attacking reinforcements
Meanwhile, the future of Brentford striker Ivan Toney remains the subject of considerable speculation.
The 27-year-old has not played since May and is currently suspended for breaching the FA’s betting rules.
However, the eight-month ban expires in January, and Arsenal have also been linked with a move for the player who previously indicated he would like to play for a ‘big club’ in his career.
