Chelsea are getting closer to signing Barcelona youngster Marc Guiu, according to reports in Spain.
The 18-year-old striker broke into the first team in 2023-24 and scored two goals in seven appearances in all competitions.
However, the forward seems to have played his last game for Barça as he is about to sign for Chelsea according to reports brand.
The Blues activated Guiu’s £5m release clause and beat off competition from Bayern Munich to land the player.
Barça consider him to have great potential and offered him a new contract, but could not reach an agreement before Chelsea offered him an ‘unbeatable’ offer.

Chelsea’s new manager Enzo Maresca has spoken to Guiu several times and intends to have the youngster in the first team next season.
Guiu is attracted to Chelsea’s project with young players and believes that the Premier League suits his style of play.
He made his senior Barça debut under Xavi against Athletic Bilbao last October and scored with his second touch in a 1-0 win.
