Chelsea fans believe they have signed the next big thing after watching new signing Willian Estevao score a stunning goal for Palmeiras on Thursday night.
The Blues officially confirmed the signing of the Brazilian winger from Palmeiras for £28m last month.
Estevao will join the London club next year after celebrating his 18th birthday at the end of April.
And he showed fans why they should be excited about his arrival with a wonderful solo goal against Gremio in the top flight of Brazilian football.
Willian received the ball on the right wing before cutting in and playing a one-two before beating a defender and powerfully finishing the ball into the top left corner from distance.

The stunning 77th-minute goal rescued a point for his team and the match ended 2-2.
And there was also a nod to his new club after the goal when he performed the famous Cole Palmer “cold” celebration.
Chelsea’s statement after Willian’s signing read: ‘Chelsea Football Club have reached an agreement to sign teenage striker Estevao Willian from Palmeiras, with the Brazilian set to officially join Chelsea next summer.
‘The 17-year-old has already built up a solid reputation in South America as one of the most exciting talents due to his skilful dribbling and electric pace, causing plenty of problems for defences in his highly successful season in senior football.
‘Estevao has made 10 appearances in the Brazilian Serie A for Palmeiras, contributing two goals and two assists, as well as scoring in the Copa Libertadores and Copa do Brasil.’
The statement added: “The exciting striker, who joins fellow Brazilians Andrey Santos, Deivid Washington and Angelo Gabriel at Stamford Bridge, has also played for his nation at youth level.”
As well as joining Chelsea’s list of Brazilian players, Estevao became the 13th teenager signed by the Blues since Todd Boehly took control of the club in 2022.
Those teenagers have cost a total of £249.4m in combined transfer fees, with Romeo Lavia being the most expensive.
Midfielder Lavia cost £58million when he arrived from Southampton in August 2023 but played just once for the Blues last season due to injury problems.
Estevao is unlikely to be Chelsea’s last teenage signing before the start of the 2024-25 campaign.
