Chelsea are reportedly willing to reward veteran defender Thiago Silva with a new one-year deal after playing a pivotal role in their success this season.
The 36-year-old came on a free transfer from PSG under Frank Lampard last summer, and was written off as too old to thrive in the Premier League.
The Brazilian has now proven that the signing was a masterstroke.

According to the sunBlues boss Thomas Tuchel will offer the center-back a new one-year contract.
After Saturday’s final, Silva paid tribute to Lampard, who led the Blues through the Champions League group stage this season before losing his job in January.
