Cheeky Gareth Bale seems to strike back at Real Madrid fans and Spanish press with binocular gesture from the bench during Granada win – just days after he was labeled ’embarrassing’ for pretending to fall asleep with a face mask in front of his eyes
Gareth Bale risked further anger from Real Madrid fans after seeming to make a ‘binocular’ gesture on the bench during his team’s 2-1 victory in Granada.
The win put Real Madrid four points ahead of the top of LaLiga with only two games to go for what would be the Bale title at the club in seven years.
However, the winger got more controversy on Monday because he was heavily criticized for pretending to fall asleep with his mask over his eyes during his team’s home win over Alaves on Friday.

The Welshman was left unused on the bench for the fourth straight game
After the incident on Friday, Spanish newspaper Marca labeled the Welshman as ’embarrassing’ before publishing the headline: ‘Bale’s image’ a la Faubert ‘: his worst shot as a Real Madrid player?’
Bale has only started 12 games this season and has not participated in any of Real’s last four games to end his league title.

The Welshman’s last appearance was on June 24, in a 2-0 win at home to Mallorca when he was replaced by Isco in the 71st minute.
Zinedine Zidane’s latest stunt is a clear indication that Frenchman doesn’t consider Bale as part of his plans for the future in Bernabeu.
Ferland Mendy and Karim Benzema gave the visitors an early lead before the second half of Darwin Marchis ended the match nervously.
