Just as OpenAI is preparing for its first developer conferenceAn important ChatGPT update has been leaked. According The decoder, Leaked screenshots and videos show a custom chatbot builder with many of the same features already available in ChatGPT using GPT-4, such as web browsing and data analysis. Apparently, OpenAI will also have a new marketplace where users will be able to share their chatbot or explore ones created by others.
A user called Choi published a summary of the updates rumored a few days ago. This morning, SEO tools developer Tibor Blaho shared a UI video of the feature in action, showing a GPT Builder option that allows users to enter a message; An example says “create a creative that helps generate images for new products.” – to create a chatbot.
Under the “Create” tab, there are options to choose a default language, tone, and writing style for the bot. Then, a “Configure” tab has fields to name, describe, and instruct the bot on what it can and can’t do. Users can also upload files for a custom knowledge base and toggle capabilities such as web browsing and image generation. There is also a box to add custom actions to your chatbot.
Finally, next to the configuration options, there is a “preview panel” with a prompt box to test the bot as it is edited. Braho published a detailed breakdown of GPT Builder in a LinkedIn post as well.
In addition to the new Gizmo tool, Choi says OpenAI plans to launch a “Team” enterprise subscription plan with “Flexible” and “Annual” options. Choi shared a screenshot breaking down the features of the Team plan, such as unlimited high-speed GPT-4 and four times longer context. The screenshot says it is priced at $25 per user per month.
