Charlize Theron, 48, REFUSES getting a makeover as she reacts to fans who suggested she get plastic surgery: ‘I’m just getting old, that’s exactly what’s happening’
Charlize Theron has denied any reports that she’s had a facelift in order to stay and look young, and instead hilariously joked, “I’m just getting older, that’s exactly what happens.”
The 48-year-old screen siren spoke of beauty and youth while marking two decades as the face of Dior’s best-selling fragrance, J’Adore.
Looking back through the iconic snaps, the star remarked on her change in appearance in a new interview.
“My face is changing and I like my face changing and getting older,” she said. Seduce review. But “people think that I have made a new skin”.
‘They say, “What did she do to her face?” I’m like, ‘B***h, I’m just getting old! That doesn’t mean I had bad plastic surgery. That’s just what happens.”
The Young Adult actress – who took her kids to one of Taylor Swift’s concerts in Los Angeles – is also not a fan of the double standard between men and women when it comes to aging.

“I’ve always had issues with men aging like fine wines and women aging like cut flowers,” she said.
“I despise this concept and want to fight against it, but I also think women want to age in a way that suits them,” the South African native said.
“I think we need to be a little more empathetic about how we’re all going through our journey,” she explained.
“My journey of having to see my face on a billboard is pretty funny now,” the Fast X star joked.
The mom-of-two shared a funny story of a time she and her eldest daughter Jackson, 11, walked past one of her 10ft-tall J’adore ads.
“My eldest was so embarrassed. She’s like, “Oh, my God, Mom! You’re not even wearing a shirt.” I thought, “You’re right. I didn’t even realize that,” the Atomic Blonde actress said.
‘She’s like, ‘All my friends are going to see this. I mean, can you just wear a shirt?’
The North County actress also opened up about the kind of roles she no longer does due to her age.

“I’ll never make a movie again and say, ‘Yeah, I’m going to put on 40 pounds. I will never do it again because you can’t take it off,” she said.
“When I was 27, I did Monster, I lost 30 pounds, overnight. I missed three meals and got back to my normal weight,” she explained.
“Then I did it at 43 for Tully and I remember a year after trying to lose weight I called my doctor and said, ‘I think I’m dying because I don’t can’t lose that weight.
“And he said to me, ‘You’re over 40. Calm down. Your metabolism isn’t what it used to be. Nobody wants to hear that, she said with resignation.
