Charli XCX has responded to Bowen Yang’s Saturday Night Live parody of her.
While stopping by the Howard Stern Show this week, the 32-year-old 360 hitmaker was asked if she saw the parody as a compliment or if it “bothered her.”
She responded, “I think SNL is iconic,” and added, “I love Bowen and I honestly think he did a great job.”
Charli, born Charlotte Emma Aitchison, complimented the comedian and continued: “I was actually very impressed with the texture of the hair. I thought it was a really good wig.
The pop star also mentioned his friend and musical artist Troye Sivan, who was also doing the parody, noting, “Troye and I had a feeling this was going to happen.”
