Several domestic flights in and out of Sydney Airport have been cancelled as passengers complain of long delays.
Flights were disrupted due to bad weather on Friday evening and seven outbound flights were cancelled.
Eight flights scheduled to land at Sydney Airport from across the country have also been cancelled.
A passenger flying to Sydney from Melbourne said he was stranded on the tarmac at Melbourne Airport for four hours.
“Madness at Sydney Airport – multiple flights cancelled, airport staff ordering us to leave the airport and zero support from the airline,” wrote another on X.

‘About a thousand people or so wandering around.’
That passenger shared a photo of dozens of travelers standing outside the airport with their luggage.
Jetstar, Virgin Australia and Qantas flights were disrupted.
