Channel Seven star reveals her shocking theory about Hugh Jackman and Deborra-Lee Furness’ split

Date:

A Channel Seven star has exposed a wild theory about Hugh Jackman and Deborra-Lee Furness’ split just days after the Australian couple announced the end of their marriage.

Cooper Lawrence, an American TV channel, appeared on the breakfast show to discuss the couple’s split and what went wrong.

The radio host shared an interesting insight into why Hugh and Deborra-Lee might have split.

She thinks the couple could have waited until their son Oscar and daughter Ava were old enough to avoid a complicated custody battle.

“Here’s my theory: Oscar is 23 and Ava is 18. So I think they were waiting until the kids were old enough that they could separate amicably and not worry about custody or how much money everyone is going to pay every month,” she told hosts Matt Shirvington and Natalie Barr.

“When you separate the kids and they’re young, that’s what usually ruins a divorce.

“They don’t have to worry about that because the kids are older. So now they can just divide their several millions and divide all their properties.

Cooper added to the theory and believed that Hugh and Deborra-Lee had already started to divide their property portfolio after putting their “dream” home on the rental market in January.

She also discussed the time they downsized from their $54.2 million triplex apartment in New York City for a smaller place in Chelsea.

“For a while on the Broadway stage there was a rumor that there might be something going on in this marriage and people were like, ‘Hmm, that’s a little strange.'” Cooper continued.

“As soon as they sold their three-story apartment – their giant apartment that the kids grew up in – and downsized… and then shipped a bunch of furniture to Sydney, they were like, ‘ Hmm, what’s really going on here? ?”
