“It’s hard not to get emotional thinking about the pain they’re going through right now.”

“We are hearing more stories from our friends who have lost their homes and from those who are lucky enough to find them still there,” he continued.

‘It’s a difficult thing. We have seen those heartbreaking images, but they meant a lot to us. “It’s a beautiful place to live and they’re going through a lot.”

Amor said he is particularly worried about one of his close friends who is currently battling cancer and has now lost his home in the flames, which started Tuesday.

‘I’m thinking about a friend of mine who is over 70 years old, has cancer and is fighting to live. Now he has nothing to return to,’ he added excitedly.
