Abbey Gelmi is taking steps in a new network.
The Channel Seven sports presenter has been announced as the new presenter of ABC’s Offsiders, a weekly sports current affairs series.
She replaces outgoing host Kelli Underwood, who has been at the helm since 2018, after she announced her departure last year.
“I am delighted to be hosting ABC Sport’s Offsiders in 2025,” Abbey said in a statement on Sunday.
“The opportunity to talk about all things sports with the caliber of panelists who frequent the show is both exciting and humbling,” he continued.
“It’s an honor to follow those who have hosted before me and I can’t wait to spend my Sunday mornings with you.”

Abbey has had many blessings this past year, after announcing the birth of her second child.
The TV presenter and fellow AFL star Kane Lambert welcomed a baby boy in April.
The presenter and her soccer star fiancé, both 32, posted some sweet photos on Instagram at the time that captured them tenderly cradling their newborn son.
Abbey radiated joy in a sweet black and white photo as she carefully cared for her baby while sitting on her hospital bed.
Another image captured the former Richmond star lovingly looking at her newborn as she introduced her baby son, Louis, to his little brother.
In the caption of the photos, the couple revealed their baby’s adorable name: Oliver Herb Lambert.
“Everyone is happy, healthy and very much in love,” they added.
During her pregnancy, Abbey revealed that she suffered from hyperemesis gravidarum.

Abbey has had many blessings in the last year, after announcing the birth of her second child.
Hyperemesis gravidarum (HG) is a condition that causes persistent and excessive vomiting during pregnancy.
Sufferers often cannot keep food or water down, which affects their daily lives.
“Probably once a week I wake up and throw up, that’s really very mild compared to what it was,” she told the Missta Mums podcast.
‘Every day, dry heaves, vomiting, whatever I ate first. I could maybe get a piece of toast… But even then it was a struggle.’
Abbey added that at one point the condition was so serious that she felt like she was dying.
‘If I drank water, I would vomit. If I didn’t know better, I’d think I was dying. You feel so weak and tired.
Abbey announced her engagement to Kane in September 2023.
She shared the exciting news by posting a gallery of photos on Instagram while getting ready for a red carpet event.
One photo showed a glamorous Abbey waving her hand at the camera to reveal her diamond engagement ring.
The raven-haired beauty beamed as she proudly showed off her sizable new flare.
The lovebirds welcomed their first child in March 2023.
Abbey shared the happy news on Instagram along with a black and white photo of her cradling the newborn in the hospital.
“Louis James Lambert came into the world on 8.3.23,” he wrote alongside the image.
Abbey first sparked rumors that she was dating the retired Richmond star in May 2021 after the couple attended Sam Mac’s book launch together in Melbourne.
