Channel Nine’s James Bracey has jokingly hinted that trouble is brewing between his “work wife” Allison Langdon and his real wife Margot.

The sports presenter, 39, took to his Instagram Stories on Tuesday to reveal the moment his co-host Allison, 45, met his wife Margot in Paris.

She joked about the ‘issues’ between the pair in the tongue-in-cheek post as she shared a snap of them in the Channel Nine studio in Paris for the 2024 Olympics.

As the couple took centre stage on the panel, James joked in a caption: “Work wife + real wife = Le trouble.”

James is best known for presenting sport on Nine News Sydney from Sunday to Thursday, having replaced Cameron Williams in 2022.

But he has been busy in Paris over the past few weeks fronting coverage of the 2024 Olympics with Nine’s presenting team.

James has made the most of the trip as his wife Margot (with whom he shares children Tilly and Abby) has joined him in France, travelling from their home in Sydney.

She has joined the likes of Ally, who is married to Michael Willesee Jr, Karl Stefanovic and Sarah Abo in the French capital to report on the latest developments.

This comes after Karl, 49, recently caused a stir by boldly branding French people “rude, pompous and sexually weird” while in Paris covering the Olympics.

“The French are weirdos. The French are weirdos. We all know that,” he said on The Kyle and Jackie O Show. ‘They are a rather strange nation, sexually.’

Jackie “O” Henderson then asked Karl if he had tried speaking French with the locals, to which the host gave a curt response.

“You know what? I’ve stopped trying. I don’t really like them that much,” he said.

“They’re very rude. They’re very arrogant… they’re pompous. But they make really good burgers. I like the burgers and stuff here.”

However, Eddie McGuire, who is also currently in Paris, strongly disagreed with Karl’s scathing critique and insisted his view is quite the opposite.

“I love the atmosphere, the people have been great, the food has been wonderful, the drivers have been hospitable,” she told Adelaide Now.

“I can’t wait to get to the end so I can taste some great French wine. The shops, the monuments, the history and the fashion are inspiring,” she continued.

‘Wonderful Rodin and Picasso exhibitions, absolutely wonderful shops and fashion.

“The Games have been inspiring and inspiring. It’s everything I hoped the Paris Games would be. I love them, I love Paris, long live France.”
