Popular Channel Nine football commentator Emma Lawrence has given birth to her first child with her partner Thomas Blucher-Hughes.
Emma took to Instagram on Saturday to share the happy news along with a series of adorable photos of her newborn daughter.
The sports reporter shared several images of her and the baby cuddling in the hospital bed, as well as another with the shirtless father, Thomas, breastfeeding the baby on his chest.
Other images showed Emma breastfeeding her newborn, as well as several of the baby sleeping.
‘Welcome to the world Harper Rose Hughes. 11.28.24. Mom and dad couldn’t be more in love. “I can’t wait to live life with you,” he wrote.
Many of the reporter’s friends took to the comments section to express their congratulations to the couple.

“Congratulations,” wrote Red Wiggle Simon Royce, followed by a love heart emoji.
“Ahhhhhh, congratulations Em, she’s beautiful,” wrote Olympic water polo player Matilda Kearns.
‘She is so perfect. Welcome to the world angel girl. We were waiting for you! Congratulations to both of you. It’s so delicious,’ another friend wrote.
‘Absolutely adorable, perfect little production! Love and hugs for everyone,’ someone else said.
Emma announced her pregnancy earlier this year, just hours before covering the first State of Origin match of the 2024 series.
‘The off season is about to get busy! “We can’t wait to meet you little one,” she posted on Instagram, accompanied by a scan image of the baby and her boyfriend, who is a senior producer on Channel Nine’s rugby league coverage.
Thomas also posted the image online, and among the many well-wishers were the likes of Triple M’s Gus Worland, NRLW star Millie Boyle and Daily Mail Australia columnist Jana Hocking.
Emma is also an employee of Triple M and is one of the most respected media figures in the code.

She joined the Channel Nine team in 2021 and previously worked as a presenter for companies such as Channel 10 and Fox Sports.
His brother, former Wests Tigers and Australian center Chris Lawrence, was also elated at the news that he will be an uncle.
Lawrence debuted for the Wests Tigers in 2006 as a 17-year-old schoolboy, days before his HSC exams, and carved out an impressive career as an attacking centre-back.
He retired in 2020 with six appearances for the Kangaroos to his name.
In November 2022, Emma and cameraman Cade Thompson had $20,000 worth of equipment stolen after their car was broken into at the Rugby League World Cup in England.
The thieves broke the window of their vehicle and the shocked colleagues reported the incident to the police.
