A Channel 10 presenter has shocked listeners after accidentally revealing on the radio that his colleague is pregnant.
During a segment on Adelaide’s Mix 102.3, sports presenter Max Burford was talking about ruining surprises with co-host Ali Clarke.
Burford recounted the time he recently learned news about TV reporter Taylee Jones’ pregnancy while having work drinks at Channel 10.
“It was a Friday and on a Friday we were having drinks, one of our other reporters, the beautiful Taylee, says, ‘Oh, should I have Pepsi Max, should I have Coke Zero?’ before suggesting she have an alcoholic seltzer instead. .
Taylee quickly declined the offer, prompting Burford to reveal that he joked about her being pregnant, which his colleague quietly confirmed.

However, co-host Ali was quick to point out that Max was ruining the surprise in a much more public forum than just work drinks.
Shocked, Clarke interrupted the story and commented: “Wait, now you’re saying it on the radio.”
Burford assured colleagues that the information was widely known, before it was quickly contradicted, and Clarke said the news had not spread on social media.
