She recently revealed on Instagram that she reached her weight loss goal after losing seven stones.
And now Chanelle Hayes has shown off her incredible transformation in a before-and-after comparison photo.
Sunday afternoon on Instagram, the 33-year-old TV personality said her weight loss has allowed her to make the most of the warm weather with her kids.
Looks good! Chanelle Hayes showed off her seven-stone weight loss as she shares photos before and after her transformation, saying losing weight ‘has made the heat enjoyable’
Chanelle wrote a long post next to the comparison photo, writing, “I definitely enjoyed the warm weather a lot more this year.
“Losing so much body fat has made the heat enjoyable rather than unbearable.
Plus, this summer I can really get off the treehouse slide, which Frankie loved so much, because I can actually play with him this year. (Blakely still insists I’m not cool and embarrassing whether I can go down the slide or not lol).
“No more overseas holidays for us this year, but Costa del Yorkshire is good enough for us. We had canceled Turkey and Mexico… and you?
‘Losing so much body fat has made the heat enjoyable’: Chanelle wrote an uplifting message alongside her photos, sharing how confident she feels now
“The weight difference between these photos is 106 pounds and the dress sizes are 18 and 10 (UK) #weightlossjourney #weightloss #weightlosstransformation #travel #mumofboys #mumlife #mumsofinstagram #bariatricsurgery #healthylifestyle.”
Last week, Chanelle revealed to her Instagram followers that she has reached her goal weight, in a humble and happy post.
Chanelle shared side-by-side photos looking incredible in the most recent, in which she posed in a skimpy black strap-top and a leopard-print thigh split skirt.
She looked like a shadow of her former self, compared to the photo she’d taken months ago when she was more than seven bricks heavier.
Transformed: Chanelle revealed to her Instagram followers last week that she reached her goal weight, in a humble, happy post
In the before photo, she held out her arms in a black dress, with the after-snap showing a lean, healthier look.
She posed in her hallway with a tan glow and a short dark brown haircut.
She wore a black belt around her slim waist and wore a matching purse and sturdy black boots.
Makeup was flawless with the ex Big Brother star adding gold chains around her neck as accessories.
Proud: She told fans she ‘finally made it’ and reached her target weight and size of 9th 10lb and dress size 10
She told fans she “finally made it” and brought herself to her target weight and size of 9th 10lb and size 10 clothing.
In a proud caption, Chanelle wrote: ‘So I recently reached a personal goal and now weigh back in the 9 bricks!
‘But not everything is about what’s on the scale… in the first picture on the left I didn’t even know my weight because I didn’t want it… although I know it was around 17 stone when I wasn’t getting too much long operated from that photo (I took that photo to use as inspiration to get healthy again).
‘What I do know is that I couldn’t climb the stairs that day and chose the escalator on that journey. I also had to put talcum powder under my breasts, between my thighs and under my upper arms to stop the rash I would get from chafing.
Wow! It comes after Chanelle proudly showed off her seven stone weight loss results as she shared new before and after photos on Instagram
‘I avoided any mirror or reflection and generally didn’t care much or love myself much.
‘In the photo on the right I still get nervous around my reflection in case I see the person I was before who was so desperately unhappy and I still get boob chafes but I’m so proud to post myself and me to feel confident and healthy again.
“My weight and addiction to food has held me back for so many years that I have to pinch myself when I remember being healthy again and being able to fit into normal clothes without crying in the locker rooms.
What is your target weight/size? Mine is 9st10lb and size 10 clothes and I finally made it! [sic]’
Candid: The former Big Brother star wrote a lengthy caption next to her post revealing to her ‘five lessons I’ve learned since going through weight-loss surgery’
This isn’t the first time Chanelle has shown the incredible results of her weight loss by sharing a before and after photo.
She looked incredible as she posed with her arms outstretched, explaining that in the first photo she weighed 242 pounds (17 stone), while the second showed her 141 pounds (10 stone).
Chanelle’s arms and legs were much tighter in the “after” snap, where she wore a white sports bra and black pants.
She also showed off her toned midriff as she extended her arms and shared the update on her fitness journey with fans.
The star has been extremely candid about her weight loss, recently revealing that her weight during the initial lockdown was ‘spiral’ to 17st4lb, which was ‘morbidly obese’ for her 5ft4in height.
Chanelle wrote a lengthy caption alongside her post, describing the “five lessons she’s learned” since she had surgery — including how her relationship with food has changed and she now practices differently.
She wrote: ‘5 Lessons I’ve Learned Since Having Weight-Loss Surgery.
‘1. It doesn’t change my relationship with food. Bariatric surgery is just a tool, if I don’t use it consistently and correctly it will fail. Addressing abnormal relationships with food is so important if I want to become physically and mentally healthier.
‘2. Not everyone will understand my choice and that’s okay because it’s MY journey. ‘Just eat less and exercise more’, ‘you chose the easy option’, are some of the comments I heard along the way.
“Believe me, it’s not easy (I wish it were!) and it wasn’t an option I took lightly. But it’s the best decision I’ve made in terms of my health.
Candid: She took to Instagram to post the photos as she admitted she was “nervous” sharing her transformation for being in such a “low spot” mentally
‘3. Exercise is different now. I’ve always enjoyed working out (I’m actually a qualified PT, crazy as this may seem), but I’m really proud to exercise and improve my body after all the crap I’ve given it all these years. It’s my way of saying ‘hey body, I’m sorry I abused you…here’s an olive branch’ (or a dumbbell).
‘4. Weight looks different on everyone. I try to stop focusing on other people’s weights because I am my only competitor.
‘Ten people can weigh exactly the same, but have a completely different body composition. Selfishly (but thankfully) all I care about now is myself and mine.
‘5. Despite losing weight, I have grown as a person. I’ve had every size you can think of and can empathize with the issues that come with it. I realize that people can plaster a smile – in any size – but it’s not okay below the surface.
“This experience has really given me a better understanding of personal struggles and how easy it is to hide them.”
The star then ended her post with the words: “I thought I’d share this today on #womancrushwednesday because my #wcw this week is ME…and I don’t think I’ve ever been able to say that before.”
Before and after: The mum of two has shared regular updates on her transformation, as well as candid photos showing off her weight loss
