A chainsaw massacre scavenger hunt went tragically wrong when a fire broke out in a mock “dungeon” with participants still handcuffed to their chairs, leaving two dead.
Newlywed Asiyat, 19, died just five days after her wedding while taking part in a scavenger hunt in a “House of Horrors” with her new husband Said, 21, and their friend Madina, 25.
Asiyat was hand-tied to a chair in a cell as part of a horror game in the basement of a house in the Russian city of Makhachkala.
Her friend Madina, a personal trainer, was also tied to a chair when the game host doused her glove with petrol and set it on fire “to heighten the sense of fear”, before dropping the petrol canister and causing the blaze.
Madina suffered fatal burns covering 97 percent of her body and Asiyat died from carbon monoxide poisoning, while her husband, Said, He is still in the hospital fighting for his life with 50 percent burns, unaware that his new wife is dead.

According to a statement to the Russian Investigative Committee, the host said that after he dropped the canister of gasoline, the chainsaw caught fire.
The victims were locked in the dark chamber of terror and were unable to escape. The staff of the “attraction” were unable to find the keys to free the victims.
People in a nearby cafe saw smoke and called the fire brigade, who forced their way inside. Asiyat (daughter of the chief doctor at the town’s main hospital) and Madina were reported to be alive when rescuers found them, but died later in hospital.
A witness said: ‘To scare the girl, they first handcuffed her, chained her to a chair and then threw a lighter at her and tried to simulate arson, to scare her.
‘They lit a lighter and the girl caught fire. Her friend tried to put it out and a man tried to get fire extinguishers. When he returned, the two women were unconscious. One was burned to death in a chair.’
The host reportedly told the Russian Investigative Committee that after he dropped the can of gasoline, the chainsaw (pictured above in a promotional video for the scavenger hunt) caught fire.

A family source said: ‘My sister Asiyat got married last week. She asked her husband to go in search of the couple. During the search, the entertainer handcuffed Madina, 25.
‘He was going to play a prank on her, he doused her with fuel and hit her with a lighter to scare her, and the fire broke out. Madina started burning.
Asiysat’s husband took off his shirt and tried to put out the fire, but it didn’t work. He ran outside to get a fire extinguisher, but it was difficult to get out, it was dark and there were mazes everywhere.
‘He tried to break the bars of the window, but he couldn’t… He searched for the woman with his hands and stumbled upon Asiyat, trying to save his friend.’
