Celtic will turn to Fulham goalkeeper Marcus Bettinelli after moving to have Fraser Forster re-signed.

But the Scottish giants are now booming for Bettinelli after uncertainties arose over Forster’s move.
Celtic has shifted his focus to Marcus Bettinelli from Fulham while looking for a keeper
Bettinelli, who broke into the English squad last season, is open to a new challenge for the next term.
The goalkeeper could be available for just £ 1 million, with only one year left on his contract.
Before Fulham relegated to the championship at the end of last season, Bettinelli had established himself as one of the top emerging goalkeepers in England.
Celtic tried to sign Fraser Forster permanently, but the deal stalled
Manager Neil Lennon said Celtic is unlikely to have to look elsewhere with a deal for Forster
And Celtic has targeted the 28-year-old shot-stop to fill the need in the Glasgow club.
Speaking of Celtic’s hunt for Forster, Lennon said, “It’s been quiet on the player’s side.
“We would love him very much here, but if not, we will look elsewhere.
We look at a number of options in the field of goalkeeping. It’s such an important position and Fraser did great things for us last season.
“Ideally, we try to win an exceptional number one again.”
