Now Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano has revealed that the two clubs are in talks over a summer transfer.

He says negotiations are underway but the former England goalkeeper is a target for new boss Ange Postecoglou.

And Barkas was captured by Mikhail Antonio in the friendly 6-2 loss to West Ham this weekend.

Hart was the number 1 of Manchester City and England between 2008 and 2017 and won the Premier League in 2012.

However, he lost his place after the arrival of Pep Guardiola as manager and was loaned out to Turin and West Ham United.

He spent two years at Burnley, making 19 appearances, before joining Tottenham and spending the majority of the 2020/21 season on the bench.
