She was dressed in a stunning white lace and satin dress with a plunging neckline, and added a touch of opulence with a sparkling headpiece that covered her forehead, along with a traditional white veil.

Céline Dion paid tribute to her late husband René Angélil in a touching social media post shared Tuesday on the occasion of their 30th wedding anniversary.
‘Happy 30th anniversary, mon amour!’ he added, before saying goodbye to her and the couple’s three children, René-Charles, 23, and his twins Nelson and Eddy, 14.
The first time Céline entered René’s orbit was when she performed for him in 1980, when she was just 12 years old.
The audition was a success and he agreed to become the budding singer’s manager.
But their relationship turned romantic in 1987, when Dion was 19, and the two married seven years later.
Céline was reportedly afraid that the public would assume their relationship began before she came of age, so she kept the details of the relationship secret for years.
“I was afraid of what people would think,” he admitted in a 1994 interview with People.
But their connection was simply too strong for her to keep to herself.
“When you’re in love, you want to shout it to the world,” he added.

It wasn’t until the couple became engaged in 1993 that Céline finally felt comfortable letting the world know about their relationship.

René later died in 2016, just two days before his 74th birthday, from throat cancer.
His son René-Charles later gave the eulogy at his father’s funeral, just three days before his 15th birthday.
René’s death preceded a second tragedy for the My Heart Will Go On singer, as her brother Daniel died of cancer two days later at age 59, on what would have been her husband’s birthday.
Céline’s career has slowed down lately after admitting in December 2022 that she had been diagnosed with stiff person syndrome.
The condition causes a person’s muscles to become increasingly tight and stiff over time, which can lead to chronic pain and mobility problems.
That muscle tension can also make it difficult for a singer like Dion to perform properly.
