Emily Ratajowski addresses Celeste Barber’s ‘misogynistic’ posts, says she blocked the comedian for mocking her G-string photoshoot: ‘I don’t give her permission for this prank’
Emily Ratajowski has said she blocked Celeste Barber on Instagram because she no longer “consentd” to be the butt of her pranks.
Two years ago, the Australian comedian, who is known for mocking celebrities, imitated a photo of the supermodel.
Celeste copied her racy photo of her leaning against a wall in a skimpy bikini and captioned it, “We’re tired of objectifying our bodies!” And here’s my ass.’
Some objected to the caption, with many social media commentators calling Barber a “misogynist” in their comments.
It wasn’t the funny woman’s first time mocking Emily, but it was the photo that led to the My Body author blocking her on Instagram.

In her book, she talks about others using her image for profit, and in a recent episode of her High Low podcast, the 31-year-old spoke about her “drama” with Celeste.
“This whole drama with Celeste has been blown out of proportion,” the 31-year-old said.
“In general, I think she’s very funny. But (the) message I was trying to send her was “I just don’t want you to do this to me anymore”.
“I was like, I’m not giving her permission for this prank anymore. It just landed at a specific time for me.”
The model added that while she personally has no ill feelings towards the comedian, she believes making fun of women who display their bodies is inherently misogynistic.

“We really like bullying female influencers as if they are considered the nastiest, lamest, cringiest, most embarrassing human beings on the planet,” she said.
I find that fundamentally sexist. Yes, no woman wants to be an influencer – it’s one of the ways women have learned to be successful and make money. They’re busy.’
While Celeste was criticized for her images mocking Emily, the Wellmania star said earlier this year that she has no regrets.
‘I like to keep my mouth shut. I do it a lot. I’m quick-witted — it’s one of my favorite things about me,” she shared Mary Claire Last January.
“I don’t like that I feel like I can’t do that very often, and yes, I sometimes feel like I’m censoring myself. But other times I don’t give a shit and I’m operating from a place where I’ve already been canceled.
“I mean good luck to them. You can’t win. They hate what you do one day, and the next day you’re the best thing in the world.”
