But then over the weekend he attracted attention by hosting a Halloween event at a Sydney nightclub dressed as a Sean ‘P Diddy’ Combs baby oil bottle.
‘Tonight DJ Helena Ellis and I are going to a hip hop inspired Halloween party and our outfits are edgy and trendy!’ Jamie joked in a post shared on Instagram Stories on Friday.

For the Halloween party hosted at Albion Fridays, Jamie and Helena coordinated a duo costume as a baby oil bottle and J.Lo.
In photos shared on Instagram Stories, Jamie flaunted a white T-shirt with a printed image of a cartoon oil bottle with the word “Diddy” written on it and posed with the Australian DJ, who carried a handmade bag made from the same “Diddy.” Oil’.

It came after Sydney Identity criticized Evelyn and Duncan’s decision to dress up in drag for the holidays for the second year in a row.

“I don’t think either of them are homophobic. That’s not my point. But if you say ‘This is scary,’ then you’re making fun of people like me.”
A concerned Daily Mail reader, who attended the event at the Albion Hotel on Friday, said she was “deeply disturbed” by Jamie’s decision to dress up as Diddy’s “baby oil”.
“It’s troubling to see someone who so easily criticizes others choose to portray a person of color facing serious allegations, including allegations of sexual assault and trafficking,” the reader wrote.
‘In particular, there have been recent allegations involving P Diddy and a 10-year-old boy, which are absolutely horrific.
‘How can Jamie criticize others for their decisions and at the same time dismiss the implications of his own actions?’
‘This double standard is alarming and it is not surprising that there is considerable debate and upset online regarding this incident. “It is crucial to engage in thoughtful dialogue about respect and responsibility in our community.”

When contacted by Daily Mail, Evelyn maintained that she sees nothing wrong or offensive about her and Duncan’s costume.
‘I’m sorry, but having your partner look like you is scary!!!’ she said.
Concluding his lengthy response, Duncan wrote to Jamie: ‘I think we must always take into account all genders and all people living on this planet.
“I would like to think that both Ev and I demonstrated through our actions great support and understanding towards the wider community.”
