Jodi took to the video-sharing platform to share a fun breakdown of how she should say her last name.
The viral video racked up 947,000 views and was paired with the caption “Clarifying a thing or two.”
He began by pointing out that ever since he joined the video-sharing platform, fans had been discussing how to correctly say his name.

They all got Jodi right, but they’re not too sure about the last half.
With props, captions, and photos to aid her explanation, Jodi revealed that her last name is pronounced Pico, as in “Pico de Gallo.”
‘Well, it’s Jodi PICO. Like in Pico de Gallo,’ he said as he held up a bottle of Pico de Gallo.
Then the author, who has written many novels over the years, including Nineteen Minutes and The Pact, made fun of all the mispronunciations of her last name.
As she was putting on a pea coat, she said, ‘It’s not Jodi Pea-coat.’
