One of Australia’s top chefs has revealed his “favourite” snack in all of Sydney, and the snack is said to have “exceeded all expectations”.
Josh Niland is the owner and head chef of the popular Saint Peter and the Fish Butchery restaurants.
He shared his favorite snack, his favorite cafe for the best coffee in Sydney and his favorite ‘hidden gem’ in the city.

Mat Lindsay’s Ester restaurant has been famously dubbed one of the “best places in Sydney” by critics, with diners returning time and time again for its wood-fired dishes.
‘I came here because I came across a mention of potato bread. She’s definitely the star of the show,” said one five-star reviewer.

Niland also said Room Ten in Potts Point serves the best coffee in Sydney.
The cafe uses Australian brand Mecca Coffee for its signature drinks.
Room Ten is also known for its avocado sandwiches and toast; Several say they visit the place several times a week for brunch.
When it comes to his favorite hidden gem, Mr Niland recommended a small cafe in North Sydney.
‘I don’t know how hidden it is now, but the team at Fiore Bread make delicious bread, cakes and coffee.
“And (they) have a beautifully sunny position at McMahons Point on the north coast, ideal for an early morning treat,” he said.
Critics couldn’t agree more.
“Exceptional artisan bakery on the lower North Shore,” said one. ‘The spelled seed bread and the fruit and nut bread are fantastic. Armenian walnut cake is also delicious. You can grab a coffee and enjoy the village setting of Blues Point Road.
