Celebrity Big Brother’s Marisha Wallace said Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu’s tearful reaction to the face-to-face nominations was a “traumatic response”.

Ekin-Su stormed off to bed with Marisha chasing her to apologize as she called her “fake” and a “player.”
Addressing Lorraine’s feud on Wednesday, after she became the fifth housemate to be kicked out of the house, Marisha said “it wasn’t about the nomination at all”.
She explained, “I think it was a traumatic reaction on Ekin-Su’s part because she’s been betrayed before in her life. So, she thought, ‘Oh, this is another person who I am close and who betrayed me.”
Celebrity Big Brother’s Marisha Wallace, 38, said Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu’s tearful reaction to the face-to-face nominations was a “traumatic response”.
The theater star came to blows in an explosive row with the Love Island winner, 29 (pictured) after she picked her for eviction, leading to hysterical crying.
Marisha continued: “It wasn’t about the nomination at all. It was something profound. After it happened, we talked and cried to each other.
“In this house, the movements are so intense. You’re in a pressure cooker and you’re dealing with a lot of your traumas and insecurities.
Speaking about the incident on Late & Live on Tuesday, Marisha gave her side of the story revealing that she didn’t really trust Ekin-Su and reignited the feud between them.
As hosts AJ Odudu and Will Best spoke about the row, Will explained: “I kind of read it because maybe you had another reason, but you were trying to put a nice spin on it.”
“That’s exactly what it was,” Marisha confirmed, “I was trying to soften the blow because I just felt, you know, when your spider senses go ‘bling-a bling-a ling’ , I just felt that something that wasn’t entirely true.
Referencing Fern Britton’s nomination speech in which she accused Ekin-Su of wearing a mask, Marisha explained that it helped solidify her own feelings.
“That’s when Fern said what she said, and then I thought ‘Oh, wait a minute, someone else feels the same kind of thing,'” Marisha revealed.
To clarify things, AJ confirmed, “So what you’re saying is that you had a different, genuine reason for nominating Ekin-Su, but you didn’t want to say it to his face.”

Marisha then added: “I didn’t know what to say at the time. I didn’t know how to articulate it.
“Maybe I was afraid she would turn on me on the other side.”
Will then asked, “So after thinking about it, what would you have said now, how would you have articulated it?”
Hesitantly, Marisha explained, “Well, I would have just said that when I heard you say certain things around the house, I just felt a little suspicious of you.”Here are some things you said that made me feel like maybe I couldn’t trust you that much.
“That’s what I should have said, but that’s how I felt at the time. But after that we cried like babies over a teddy bear.
“But when you first meet these people you don’t know who to trust and after that I felt closer to her, I don’t know if she feels that way, I hope it’s the case.”
“Do you think she overreacted?” » AJ asked, “because you were really sorry.”
Marisha replied: “I really apologized. For the moment, it wasn’t just about nomination. I think Ekin-Su has been through a lot in his life.
“I think she was betrayed many times and in that moment it felt like a betrayal of everything, even if it’s just a game.
“And sometimes a traumatic reaction manifests itself that way, and I totally understand because of things she’s said to me in the past.”
“I felt horrible at that moment because I know how it feels to know that one of your friends has betrayed you. I totally understand.
