Shilpa and husband Raj married in 2009. They are also parents of son Viaan Raj, who was born in May 2012, three years after the couple took the knot.
She gave birth to Viaan when she was 37 years old and said earlier that she wasn’t going to be a mother in her late thirties.
‘I never chose to become a mother at the age of 37. I always wanted to be a mother at the right age, but I didn’t find Raj at the right time. There is a time for everything, and therefore also for motherhood, “Shilpa said in an earlier interview The Hindustan Times.
‘Medically speaking, women must also have a baby at the right time. I just had no choice, otherwise I would have been a mother a long time ago. “
Scandal: Shilpa shot in 2007 for the fifth series Celebrity Big Brother and got involved in a race with Jade Goody (pictured above)
In 2007, Shilpa became famous for the fifth series Celebrity Big Brother and got involved in a race with Jade Goody, Danielle Lloyd and S Club 7-star Jo O’Meara.
Jade had entered the house with her mother Jackiey Budden and friend Jack Tweed. Jackiey collided with Shilpa in the house and claimed that she could not “pronounce” her name.
After Jackiey’s eviction, Shilpa was subjected to racist remarks and verbal abuse from other roommates, with Jade calling Shilpa as “Shilpa Poppadom.”
Jade later apologized for her actions, but was forced to leave without an audience from the studio when she was deported, due to the number of complaints the reality show had received.

Jade appeared later in 2008 on the Indian version of Big Brother, Big Boss, where she heard of her cervical cancer diagnosis.
It is believed that Jade and Shilpa made peace with each other before Jade died in March 2009, 27 years old.
Channel 4 broadcast a documentary last year, entitled Jade: The Reality Star Who Changed Britain, who re-visited her performance as Celebrity Big Brother with Shilpa.
In the documentary, Jade’s mother Jackiey revealed that the reality star thought her cancer diagnosis was a punishment for her actions on CBB.
Jade is survived by her two sons, Bobby, 16, and Freddie, 15, whom she shares with Jeff Brazier.
