Celebrity Big Brother hosts AJ Odudu and Will Best recreate iconic diary room moments including Gemma Collins’s hair extension meltdown ahead of the new series

AJ Odudu and Will Best have recreated some of Celebrity Big Brother’s most iconic moments ahead of the series’ launch next month.

The show’s hosts return to front the celebrity version of the reality show, following the success of the civilian edition that aired in October of last year.

The names entering the famous house are currently only rumored and nothing will be confirmed until the celebrities arrive at the house during the live launch.

One of the most memorable former contestants is former TOWIE star Gemma Collins, 43, who had a notorious meltdown over her hair extensions.

Gemma was left furious after the house straighteners “exhausted” her hair after Big Brother refused to give her a set of hot rollers.

Recreating the iconic moment, AJ says, “That’s a f**king take.” Everyone is giving me the f***ing p***. My hair is very expensive, it’s fucking sold out because you only have flat irons here, not hot rollers.

‘Then you can pay me to have a new set of extensions. The damn hair is sold out. Why didn’t you think of putting hot rollers in here?

‘Hair straighteners are what fucking weirdos use on their hair. That’s what you think of me. So I’m not going to act anymore.

Meanwhile, Will’s re-creation needed no words, the action was more than enough to take fans back to the memorable moment when Ann Widdecombe tried and failed to straighten her hair.

The blink-and-you’ll-miss-it moment showed Ann holding the straightening iron in her hair, but losing the strands and straightening it straight instead.

The moment has since become a viral meme after fans found the funny side to Ann’s hilarious mistake.

Celebrity Big Brother 2024 is just a few days away from launch and the show will air from March 4.

ITV bosses have reportedly secured a sensational line-up of stars for the exciting reboot of the show, which last aired on Channel 5 in August 2018.

The bigwigs have apparently spent a whopping £2million on several high-profile stars for the show after the civilian version proved a huge hit last year.

Celebrities said to be in talks to take part include former Love Island winner Ekin-Su Culculoglu and former X Factor judge Louis Walsh, among many more.

The reality star, 29, who won Love Island with ex-boyfriend Davide Sanclimenti in 2022, split from the Italian hunk earlier this year.

Actress Ekin-Su could be in the Celebrity Big Brother house with the likes of Kate Middleton’s uncle Gary Goldsmith, who is said to be in negotiations with TV bosses, according to the Mirror.

An ITV spokesperson told MailOnline: “Any names are at this stage pure speculation and viewers will have to tune in to see who will enter the Celebrity Big Brother house.”
