Celebrity Big Brother: First explosive fight breaks out as fiery Louis Walsh and Lauren Simon ‘come to blows over bed allocation’

Celebrity Big Brother’s first explosive fight has reportedly already broken out between two fiery housemates.

Louis Walsh and Lauren Simon came to blows after they both wanted the same double bed, reports Sun.

Just hours after their entrance at Monday’s launch, famous faces headed to the bedroom to claim where they wanted to sleep.

But former X Factor judge Louis, 71, and Real Housewives of Cheshire star Lauren, 51, allegedly spotted the same large double bed.

Lauren had settled into the plush bed only to then be kicked out by Louis, who loved her too, the report states.

A source told the publication: “Lauren isn’t used to not getting her way, but when it comes to age and star power, Louis, of course, totally surpasses her.

‘It was difficult for her to form any kind of solid argument as to why he should make way for her to enjoy the bigger bed alone on top of him, but she put up a good fight.

“It was the first sign of tension in the house, just hours after the celebrities entered, and suggests that none of them will be shy about sharing opinions or defending theirs.”

Lauren and Louis join the likes of Sharon Osbourne, David Potts, Colson Smith and Nikita Kuzmin on the show.

Celebrity Big Brother attracted 2.8 million viewers during its ITV launch episode on Monday night, 700,000 more than the series’ last launch.

The celebrity spin-off of the reality show last aired on Channel 5 in 2018, but was axed after its viewing figures for both the celebrity and civilian series fell.

The first episode of Channel 5’s latest celebrity series attracted 2.1 million viewers, peaking at 2.5 million viewers.

However, ITV’s relaunch proved to be a ratings success, peaking at 3.2 million viewers across all devices, its highest launch since 2016.

According to overnight reports, during its linear broadcast time alone, ITV1 had more than double the audience of any other channel.

The new series also achieved the largest audience of the night among 16-34 year olds, with 463,000 viewers and an audience share of 42.5 percent.

It also surpassed the launch of the civilian series, which aired in October and saw 2.5 million people tune in to watch the show return to screens.

Celebrity Big Brother aired for the first time in six years on Monday night as 12 new housemates and one new tenant arrived.

The launch episode, which first aired on ITV, welcomed a host of recognizable faces from the entertainment industry ahead of a potential three-week stint.

Presenters AJ Odudu and Will Best were on hand to greet the celebrities outside the iconic home, before going inside to meet each other.

However, when the reality TV, soap opera and social media stars arrived, viewers complained that they didn’t recognize any of the contestants.

Celebrity Big Brother fans said they were disappointed by the confirmed scheduling of the new series and claimed they had to Google most of their names.

But if the first episode is anything to go by, viewers won’t be disappointed as it featured some funny moments from the cast.

Within minutes of the episode starting, Sharon had already kissed AJ on the lips and Louis had let it slip that he knew ‘Mrs. O’ was waiting inside.
