Married at First Sight star Jack Dunkley has obtained a temporary protection order against his ex-girlfriend Courtney Jade.

The personal trainer, 34, applied for the order at Southport Magistrates’ Court on March 7.

A temporary protection order is made before a court decides whether to make a domestic violence order.

Court documents seen by Daily Mail Australia confirm the hearing into the application has been adjourned until April 18.

The order states that Courtney “shall have good behavior toward aggrieved persons and not commit domestic violence against aggrieved persons.”

She must also not attempt to contact Jack or make “unfavorable comments” about him online or “approach or stay within 100 meters” of him, except when he appears in court.

Daily Mail Australia has contacted Courtney for comment.

Jack’s relationship with Courtney was widely discussed on Married At First Sight after she alleged he told her he had a “work opportunity” before appearing on the dating show.

Jack – who has been linked to on-screen bride Tori Adams – was questioned by the other couples regarding the timeline of his breakup amid speculation surrounding his past relationship.

In August, Courtney accused Jack of breaking up with her under the guise of a “work opportunity in America”, only for her to find out he was starring in MAFS.

“He broke up with me right after meeting his family and he told me he loved me. He tells me it’s for (a) ‘work opportunity in America’ and finds out he’s at MAFS in Sydney,” Courtney wrote on The Wash’s Instagram photos.

Since the show aired, Courtney has shared other posts on Instagram about her relationship with Jack and accused him of abandoning her just weeks before filming.

Speaking to Daily Mail Australia in February, Courtney also confirmed she had been approached with offers to “crash” the series, but wanted nothing to do with MAFS.

“I wish I would have done it (spoiled the reunion) after finding out he downplayed our relationship and disrespected me,” she said.

‘But I don’t want anything to do with this show, so I stayed out of it. That’s all I have to say.’
