BREAKING NEWS: CDC Says Fully Vaccinated People Will Be Safe To Travel Internationally, Not Need To Get Tested Before Departure, Or Quarantined When They Return To The US

  • The CDC says it is now safe for fully vaccinated Americans to travel domestically or internationally
  • Health officials have discouraged travel, even for people who have had their full shot regimen thus far
  • The agency has also been set to drop the rule requiring fully vaccinated international travelers to be quarantined

Fully vaccinated Americans can travel safely internationally, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention announced Friday.

Rules requiring fully vaccinated people coming to the US from international travel have also been dropped, as have the requirements to be tested before traveling to another country.
