Catherine Zeta-Jones revealed that she was ten days away from the birth of her daughter Carys when she performed at the 2003 Academy Awards.
The actress, 50, discussed her youngest child’s arrival with Vogue on Wednesday and said she would be playing songs from Oscar nominee Chicago with Queen Latifah when she realized how fast her due date was.
Looking back at the show and how she was lifted to the stage on a crane, she explained, “I remember Queen Latifah and I came out of a trap door.

Also speaking of her dress at the Oscars ceremony, Catherine added: ‘With the joy of being a child and being nominated for an Oscar that year, Donatella made me this beautiful silk palette-style dress that sits right under the bust suits.
It was fluid and comfortable, easy to sit in for a very long Oscars ceremony. It is beautiful in nature, tent-like in shape and then I took my golden boy home. ‘

Catherine revealed that the couple is currently locked with their two children, son Dylan and their daughter Carys, and she noted that she “ loves ” the family reunion as Dylan is studying while Carys attends a school in Switzerland.
Catherine and Michael first met in 1998, and their relationship immediately caught the eye due to their 25-year age difference.
In 2019, Michael made a lighthearted joke about it in The Ellen DeGeneres show joke, “Catherine, my wife and I have the same birthday,” adding, “Twenty-five years apart, the same day, but who counts? ‘
