Catherine Zeta-Jones looked as elegant as ever as she got glamorous in her makeup chair with her pet curled up on her lap.

The 53-year-old actress shared a slew of black and white photos of herself doing her makeup on Instagram on Thursday.

She put on a very glamorous show when she got a stunning smokey eye makeup look along with a heavy dose of mascara.

You could see her dog Taylor blissfully curled up on her lap as she took a nap as her beauty regimen kicked off.

In one fell swoop, Catherine held her finger to her lips in the “shhh” sign, not wanting her beloved dog to be disturbed during his nap time.

In addition to the gorgeous photos, she gushed about her dog as she simply wrote, “#mydog #taylor.”

Her latest post comes after Wednesday star Catherine returned from her lavish summer vacation to Capri last month.

Catherine – who left with her husband Michael Douglas, 78 – took to Instagram last month to give an insight into her sun-soaked getaway.

In one fell swoop, she looked effortlessly stylish in a patterned blue robe and a bold waist-high slit while relaxing on a yacht.

She threw her dress over a black swimsuit and paired it with a matching headband, adding some glamor with a pair of silver hoop earrings.

In another photo shared to her 5.4 million followers, Catherine showed off a busty show in a plunging khaki halterneck swimsuit.

She pouted for the camera while hiding under a huge beige woven sun hat and rocking black sunglasses.

Catherine enjoyed the lavish, sun-soaked Italian getaway with her actor husband Michael, and the pair enjoyed a boat trip to Conca del Sogno, an upscale beach club in the picturesque coastal town of Nerano.

Fatal Attraction star Michael and Catherine, who is 25 years his junior, have been married since 2000.

The couple tied the knot at New York’s Plaza Hotel after they began dating two years earlier, and have gone on to become one of Hollywood’s most enduring couples.

In 2001, Catherine told Larry King how their relationship began: “We met in 1996 at the Deauville Film Festival…I think it was 1996!”

“I was told Michael Douglas wanted to meet me. I was a little nervous because I didn’t know exactly what he wanted to meet me about.’

Douglas promoted A Perfect Murder and Zeta-Jones promoted The Mask of Zorro.

Their friends Antonio Banderas and Melanie Griffith – who used to be married – introduced the actors at a private dinner and Michael asked Catherine if he could sit next to her.

He famously told her that he was going to be the father of her children, which shocked her, and soon after sent flowers to apologize. They started a friendship.

“Nine months later, I’m still having long conversations with him on the phone, having great dinner dates, and constantly wondering, ‘Why aren’t we together?'” she told King.

“One day we looked at each other and said, ‘We’re having a lot of fun together,'” she said.

Michael proposed on New Year’s Eve 1999 at his home in Aspen with a $1 million diamond ring.

“We were both so sick because we had the flu,” the actor told ITV’s Ross King in 2016.

Together, Catherine and Michael have son Dylan, 22, and daughter Carys, 20. Michael also has son Cameron Douglas, 43, from his first marriage to Diandra Luker.
