Castleford 12-26 St Helens: Saints blow Tigers away to win Challenge Cup as James Roby, Tommy Makinson and Kyle Amor score in second half blitz in front of 45,000 fans at Wembley

St Helens defeated Castleford to win the Challenge Cup at Wembley on Saturday in front of 45,000 fans.

Castleford led 12-6 at halftime thanks to two converted attempts by Evalds and Trueman at Wembley.

Saints tied the score with a try from James Roby and a conversion from Lachlan Coote before Tommy Makinson moved on to lead them 16-12.

Coote kicked two late penalties before Kyle Amor passed to seal the win.
