And now Casey Donovan has revealed intimate details about his personal life and relationship with Renee Sharples.

She went on to say that she has “never been happier” and that their relationship has made her feel more secure.
“It’s taken me finding the love of my life and kissing some frogs, and going through a big part of my life that was challenging, to find confidence and happiness within myself.”

Casey sparked rumors that she was secretly engaged to her girlfriend Renee in September 2021, a year after finding love during the Covid lockdown.
She ignited rumors after she uploaded a video to Instagram of herself performing a cover of Stand By Me to promote RU OK? Day.
As Casey played a guitar, fans couldn’t help but see a huge diamond ring on her finger, leading some to wonder if a wedding was on the cards.
Casey met Renee, a paramedicine professor, on the dating app Bumble and the couple set up video dates on Zoom.
“It took me finding the love of my life and kissing some frogs, and going through a big part of my life that was challenging, to find confidence and happiness within myself,” she said.
“I was nervous and excited to make a connection with Renee, and when we finally connected, her banter was great and she seemed very charming,” Casey told Woman’s Day.
“When I logged into our first Zoom date and saw that Renee had set it up at a coffee shop, it was so sweet… (It was) even better when she asked me what kind of coffee I wanted,” she added.
Renee admitted that she recognized Casey from Australian Idol but had “no preconceived ideas about who she was.”
‘We didn’t really see this in our near future; It was very unexpected. But we’re having the best time together and I couldn’t be happier,” she said.
