Big day! Boris and Carrie were married on May 29 in a private Catholic ceremony at Westminster Cathedral, surrounded by a small group of family and friends.
Carrie was talking on the phone when she stepped out earlier today in the relaxed long sleeve dress with a pie crust collar.
Typically low-key, Carrie swept her hair into a loose topknot and added a few oversized blacks. The designer handbag, which features Gucci’s signature horse bit buckle, added a touch of glamor to the ensemble.
This weekend, Ms. Johnson will join her new husband at the G7 summit in their first major engagement as a married couple.
Carrie will be in charge of all of the leaders’ spouses, including Jill Biden on the US president’s first foreign trip.
In addition to Jill Biden, 70, the other spouses are French First Lady Brigitte Macron, 68, Joachim Sauer, 72, husband of German Chancellor Angela Merkel, and Sophie Gregoire Trudeau, 46, wife of Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau.

Wilfred, the couple’s one-year-old son, attended the small wedding at the cathedral where he had previously been baptized.
The bride wore a rented long lace dress and a floral headband. She took the Prime Minister’s surname and is now known as Mrs Johnson.
Clearly Ms Johnson was not happy that an unofficial photo, supposedly taken by a guest, was circulating on social media.
Downing Street declined to comment on the timing of the wedding.
