Carrie Johnson showed her styling talent again tonight when she arrived at the G7 reception in an elegant floral dress.

The newlywed, who married Prime Minister Boris Johnson on May 29, was stunned to attend the event hosted by the Queen and Prince Charles at the Eden Project, in Cornwall, following the summit’s start today.

Arriving hand in hand with her husband, Carrie, 33, she put her best fashion foot forward in The Vampire’s Wife multicolored dress, paired with yellow heels.

Carrie’s dress cost £805 when bought new, but the Prime Minister’s wife has shown a love for fashion apps and rental websites throughout her journey so far.

And she didn’t disappoint this time, with the dress from the famous brand The Vampire’s Wife, rented from the British website HURR.

Carrie let the statement piece do the talking and kept her accessories to a minimum.

Though known for her vibrant outfits, the mother-of-one added a pop of color to her ensemble with a bright yellow handbag and matching shoes.

She kept her hair styled loosely while wearing a bit of glamorous makeup to complete her glamorous look.

Carrie’s appearance tonight comes after the mother-of-one was left beaming earlier today after bumping Justin Trudeau’s elbows as she and Boris formally greeted G7 leaders for the first time.

The Canadian Prime Minister has become the unlikely political crush of women everywhere since his election — and it seems even Carrie isn’t immune to his charms.

She was seen today sharing a friendly moment with Trudeau as the newlyweds welcomed guests one by one at the official summit start on a beach walk along Carbis Bay.

As Trudeau approached, he donned a face mask before bumping Boris on the elbows and turning his attention to Carrie to say, “Nice to meet you, Carrie.”

Boris then shared some short words with the couple, who had a quick chat and laugh before posing for a photo.

The 33-year-old opted for a vibrant pink Roksanda dress, which initially cost £1,395, which she rented from rental website Hurr.

Boris was last seen in public with Trudeau when the pair met ahead of the last G7 summit in Biarritz, France, nearly two years before he and Carrie tied the knot last month.

The couple married in a ‘small ceremony’ at Westminster Cathedral in May after an extraordinary cloak-and-dagger operation to keep the event a secret – with a bigger party planned for next summer.

It was Carrie’s biggest outing on the world stage today when she also met Angela Merkel, Mario Draghi, Emanuel Macron and Japanese Prime Minister Yoshihide Suga.

The prime minister’s new wife plays a pivotal role at the summit hosting the husbands of world leaders while their counterparts devise solutions to global problems.

Yesterday, she even went paddling with First Lady Jill Biden and her one-year-old son Wilfred. Carrie was seen laughing with the 70-year-old as they dip their toes into the Cornish sea.

Jill said today it was “great” spending time with Carrie, insisting that the “special relationship” between the US and the UK “continues”.

Carrie’s bright pink midi dress was supposedly borrowed from rental website HURR of My Wardrobe and she paired the look with a pair of £175 heels from LK Bennett.

The eco-conscious Carrie is also believed to have rented multiple pieces of clothing for the event – two collections from clothing rental companies My Wardrobe HQ and Hurr Collective were delivered on Wednesday and Thursday.

Experts recently told FEMAIL that wearing the color pink “transmits kindness and understanding in a non-threatening way.”
