She may have shined in the fashion department at the 2024 Logie Awards, but it seems Carrie Bickmore didn’t escape the glitzy event unscathed.
The 43-year-old media personality took to her Instagram Story on Tuesday to reveal the injury that brought her to tears during the late-night television show.
Carrie posted a photo showing her standing in what appeared to be a pharmacy.
Holding her thumb up to the camera, Carrie’s perfectly manicured nail appeared to have been partially torn off the nail bed.
The nail also had a large indentation down the middle with evidence that it had been bleeding.
While there was no clue as to how she was injured, Carrie was pretty sure she had identified the culprit, none other than Australian Idol judge Amy Shark.
“Amy Shark, I blame you,” Carrie cryptically captioned the image.
Posting the same image on her Instagram account, her fans were quick to wish Carrie all the best following her upset at the awards show.

Carrie added a pair of sky-high black strappy heels with metallic pink detailing on the front.
She opted for gold with lots of chunky bracelets along her arms and several thin rings.
The star opted for a warm-toned makeup look with a dark pink matte lipstick and wore her blonde hair down in waves.
Carrie added a pair of earrings to her ensemble, as well as a necklace, and kept her purse out of the way.
The blonde worked her angles on the red carpet, showing off her toned figure in the form-fitting dress.
