A carpet cleaner has furiously criticised one of his own clients after she complained about his work and demanded a full refund.
Kvontay Devon of Jackson, Mississippi, regularly uses TikTok to share the results of her deep cleaning efforts on her clients’ cars and homes.
But more recently, she candidly shared an exchange she had with a disgruntled client who wanted her to refund the $200 she paid him for cleaning four rooms.
Businessman Kvontay admitted he refused to return the money, as he shared disgusting before-and-after photos of the inside of his home.

Kvontay took to her business account to post a carousel of photos from the text exchange she had with the client named Sylvia.
After the appointment at her home, she sent a picture of what looked like a very clean carpet and asked, ‘Is this what it was supposed to look like?
“I didn’t get a chance to see it as soon as you finished and my husband says it looks half-finished.”
Kvontay replied, “Yes ma’am, that’s the best I could get, considering the condition it was in. I checked it several times as well. Could you tell me specifically what your problem is?”
Sylvia simply said that “it just doesn’t look clean,” rather than citing specific problems, adding: “We don’t have money to waste.”
The cleaning expert offered to redo the carpet, but admitted, “I did the best I could, so it won’t make much difference if I do it.”
The customer refused their offer, said a full refund would be better, and then pressed to see if Kvontay had sent it.
It’s unclear how much time passed between text messages before Sylvia sent another follow-up message that read, “This is so unprofessional of you not giving me my money back and just ignoring me! I need my money back now!”
Other social media users were quick to praise his work and urged him not to return any money.
But Kvontay had other ideas and replied: “Do you expect me to give you back the full amount for a job done? No, ma’am. Have a nice day.”
The last text of the exchange, sent by Sylvia, read: ‘When you arrived I told you what I expected! And this is not the case.
“Your unprofessional ass just ran across my carpet. My husband even said the same shit!”
“We could have paid a lot less somewhere else for this shit. We don’t have any extra money to spend. You need to give me my money back now.”
However, Kvontay had the last laugh by sharing shocking before and after images of the clean-up job, which showed drastic results.
And other social media users were quick to praise his work and urge him not to return any money.
“Her carpet was disgusting! You did amazing,” wrote one.
Another added: “I would use this before and after as marketing, it’s crazy! The carpet looks brand new.”
Someone else wrote: ‘You can’t be serious… you did some MAGIC with that rug.’
Kvontay did not specify whether the exchange with the client continued.
But after the widespread furore, he returned to the platform to respond to requests to show the other rooms he had completed for the client in question.
“I saw comments asking ‘What did the other rooms look like?’ lol. I didn’t buy the other two. I only bought two,” she wrote.
‘More photos of the customer’s carpet who wanted a refund. This was the baby’s room.’
And the transformation looked equally astonishing.
